The carnival season is still in full swing and that implies plenty of parties, unscheduled kinfolk drop-ins and late darkness spent in front of a rumble ardour. But with all the exhilaration comes an inevitable increase in spills and blots caused by one too many glass of brandy, overexcited domesticateds and hyperactive children.

Carpet cleaning experts Bissell have come up with a roster of 12 stains that are most likely to occur over the Chirstmas period, and fortunately they have a solution to all of these mishaps.

1. Chocolate

December is all about gorging on chocolate coppers and excerpt caskets. So you’re likely to have more than one reason where, in a flurry to obscure just how much Christmas chocolate you’ve depleted, it ceases up being trodden into the carpet or squished into the sofa.

2. Glitter and glue

The kids are off clas and there is a requirement to humorou, and ship is the excellent acces to keep them busy. They can start Christmas placards or emblems to hang around the dwelling. Regrettably with that comes the threat of glamour, cover and glue being splattered everywhere, including all over your carpets and rugs!

3. Mulled wine-colored

One of the best happenings about Christmastime is the warming, yummy, comforting smell of mulled wine. That is until you or Aunt Doris have had one too many and be brought to an end with half a glass seeping into your ointment carpets- eek!

5. Gravy

7. Pine needles

Nothing overpowers a real Christmas tree, but those pine needles get everywhere and sons can they be spiky to stand on! You may not have approximated this one as they’re not generally known for their staining tones, however pine needles secrete tannin which can leave behind ugly discolours on wooden floors.

8. Cranberry sauce

The creme de la creme of all condiments, though it’s colourful emblazon means it’s a real villain for discolouring the carpet.

9. Goose fatty

It may taste great smothered over your roast potatoes, but on the floor it can leave a really horrible stain.

10. Muddy footprints

No Christmas Day is end without a joyful amble. But you’ll ever have that one relative who forgets to leave their wellies by the door, traipsing a route of muddy footprints through the house.

11. Eggnog

There’s no use crying over spilt milk, but poured eggnog? You can imagine the annoying smell that will leave!

12. Soot

It’s not only children, in-laws and babies who ca create a mess at Christmas. the big-hearted fairly chap who pops down the chimney on Christmas Eve can also leave a direction of soot and dust!
